Trucks burst into flames in NSW collision

Two men have had a lucky escape after their trucks collided head-on and burst into flames in NSW's Riverina region.

The semi-trailers were travelling on the Newell Highway on Monday night when they collided north of the Jerilderie township.

The drivers got out of their trucks before they caught alight and were not seriously hurt. The highway is expected to be closed until the wreckage is cleared.
