Three men charged over Sydney bank robbery

Three men have been charged over a daylight bank robbery in the Sydney CBD earlier this year.

In May, two men robbed the Bendigo Bank branch in Elizabeth Street, fleeing in a getaway van with bags of cash.

On Friday police arrested two men aged 47 and 33 at their homes in Villawood and Ashfield, and the male driver, 28, at Riverwood.

The three men have been refused bailed to appear in Sydney's Central Local Court on robbery charges on Thursday.
