The 16-year-old passenger was seriously injured when the ute, driven by a 17-year-old male, hit a pole on Harley Crescent in Condell Park on Sunday afternoon.

He was taken to hospital with suspected internal injuries and put in an induced coma. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
