Boy, 11, seriously injured in Sydney shooting
An 11-year-old boy has been shot in Sydney’s north-west.
The shooting happened at a home on Fairway Drive, Norwest, in the Hills District.

Police were called around 5pm.
He is in a serious condition after being shot in the face and neck, NSW Police said.
He was treated by paramedics at the home before he was rushed to hospital.
Five other people at the home at the time of the shooting were uninjured, police said.
A major police operation is under way in the area.

The police helicopter is circling an apartment block and the riot squad is on the scene.
The emergency is unfolding as people leave work and not long after local children left a nearby school.
Police are investigating.
