One-punch killer Nicholas Lambaditis to learn fate

A man who delivered a fatal punch to a stranger in a moment of "uncharacteristic madness" during a night out in Sydney is set to learn his fate.
Nicholas Lambaditis was out celebrating a mate's coming wedding when he crossed paths with Brazilian biologist Lucio Stein Rodrigues in the early hours of November 3, 2013.
Lambaditis has told a court he heard words to the effect of "keep walking", which he believed came from a friend who was with Mr Rodrigues.
A scuffle broke out and when Mr Rodrigues stepped in to intervene, Lambaditis knocked him to the ground, causing his death.
Lambaditis pleaded guilty to manslaughter and will be sentenced in the NSW Supreme Court on Friday.
