NSW woman dies after crashing into tree

A woman has died after veering off the road in her car and crashing into a tree south of Mudgee.

The 54-year-old was treated at the scene just after 3pm on Wednesday in Ilford and airlifted to Sydney's Westmead Hospital where she later died.
