NSW greyhound racing inquiry delayed

The inquiry into the NSW greyhound racing industry has again been delayed after the head of the commission requested a two-month extension, saying new information needs to be examined.

Former High Court Justice Michael McHugh was last September given an extra six-months on the Special Commission of Inquiry into the Greyhound Industry in NSW, announced following the February 2015 live baiting scandal.

NSW Deputy Premier Troy Grant said it was important to give Mr McHugh the time needed to fully investigate.
