North shore Sydney home gutted by fire

A home on Sydney's upper north shore has been destroyed by fire.

Emergency workers were called to Wyomee Avenue, West Pymble, about 2.50am on Monday after reports the home was well alight.

Firefighters put out the blaze and police said there was no one home at the time.

They have set up a crime scene and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
