No bail for NSW toddler murder accused
AAP
A man accused of murdering a toddler in the NSW Hunter Valley remains behind bars after he had his bail formally refused during a court mention.
Timothy Andrew Whiteley, 26, had his matter briefly mentioned in Newcastle Local Court on Friday. He did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
Emergency services were called to a house in Tarro, near Newcastle, in June after reports a 20-month-old child was in cardiac arrest. She did not survive.
