Mum films rescue effort after boy's bath tub debacle

"Mum, quick, come in here! I'm stuck!"

When Fiona Markham-Moeller responded to her nine-year-old son Jackson's cries, at their home in Riverstone, in Sydney's northwest, she discovered the little boy had his left hand stuck in the bath tub plug hole.

"I was just scared that I could be stuck in there for too long and my fingers could fall off," Jackson later told 9NEWS.

What followed was a five-hour ordeal to rescue the boy, involving 14 firefighters, an ambulance crew and a power saw demolition of the family's bathroom — and all of it was caught on camera by Jackson's mother.
