Police investigating after man shows up to hospital in Sydney's west with suspected gunshot wound

A man in Sydney’s west will undergo surgery for a suspected gunshot wound.

The 29-year-old man presented to Auburn Hospital early this morning with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his leg, police said.

A 28-year-old man also showed up at the hospital at the same time with head and neck injuries.

Police have set up a crime scene on North Street and believe the men were involved in the same incident.
