Man left with facial injuries after shooting in Sydney's west

A 21-year-old man has been left with facial injuries after his vehicle was shot at in western Sydney.

Police received reports of a shooting in Guildford last night, and found the man with a minor facial injury when they arrived at the scene.

The man told officers he was sitting in his vehicle when a man shot at it several times before fleeing.

Police are looking for a man described as having a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his mid 20s, and 180cm tall.
