Man charged after Sydney stabbing

A Sydney boarding house resident who was stabbed in his head and body remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The 38-year-old was taken to hospital after an alleged altercation at Ashfield premises on Sunday night.

Another man, 40, has been charged with wounding with intent to murder.

He was also serviced with an apprehended domestic violence order and remanded in custody ahead of an expected court appearance on Monday.
