Machete bandit threatens Sydney pizza shop employee

A man armed with a machete has terrorised a worker in a Sydney Domino's pizza shop before making off with cash from the store's till and safe.

The bandit was wearing a red motorcycle helmet when he burst into the shop in Narellan on Monday night, threatening a woman who was working alone.

He demanded she open the till and safe, which she did, before fleeing with the cash.

While not physically hurt, police say the woman suffered shock.
