Imitation pistol allegedly pointed at synagogue
Two men have been arrested after an imitation pistol was allegedly pointed at a synagogue in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Police were called to the place of worship on Kiaora Road in Double Bay at 12.10pm on Saturday.
Police searched the vehicle and found an imitation pistol, which they took for forensic examination. 9News
Officers tracked a Toyota SUV to Kings Cross and cornered the car.

More than a dozen police were present as the men were arrested at the scene.
A 22-year-old and a 25-year-old were taken to a nearby police station for questioning.
Police were taking statements from people who were outside the synagogue at the time.
