Crews tackle Sydney CBD restaurant fire
AAP
Firefighters are attending a blaze in the basement of a restaurant in Sydney's CBD.
Fire and Rescue NSW said crews were "conducting search and rescue" at the scene in Bridge Street on Wednesday night. No casualties were reported.
Fairfax Media said the road was closed in both directions and the smoke that prompted the call to emergency services may have come from the exclusive Rockpool restaurant.
