NSW boy's abduction didn't happen: police
AAP
Police say an earlier report of a child abduction in southwest Sydney didn't occur.
Officers investigating reports a 12-year-old boy escaped after being abducted by a balaclava-clad man carrying a knife in Chester Hill on Monday say the report is false.
Despite the false report, police have urged people to speak out if they have been approached inappropriately.
