Man charged with murder after landlord found dead in Sydney granny flat
A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder after the body of a 65-year-old man was found in a granny flat in western Sydney last night.
Emergency services were called to a sharehouse on Courallie Avenue in Homebush West at 11.30pm after concerns were raised about the welfare of the occupant.
Police arrived and found the body in the granny flat.

NSW Police Superintendent Robert Toynton initially said the two men were known to each other.
"We're not seeking any other persons of interest," he said.
Police allege the 65-year-old was the owner of the property, and the 31-year-old may have been one of his tenants.
The deceased man has not been formally identified and an investigation into his cause of death is under way.
"Our condolences go out to the family of this 65-year-old man today," Toynton said.

"We will be speaking to them as a part of this investigation."
The 31-year-old man was charged with murder this afternoon.
He was denied bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court tomorrow.
