Green tree frog eats a taipan in Queensland
A bite from a taipan can kill you within a day.
And there's a creature that's harmless to humans, but deadly to this extraordinarily venomous snake.
Queensland snake catcher Jamie ChapeQueensland snake catcher Jamie Chape snapped this photo of a green tree frog munching on a coastal taipan in Townsville.
The taipan was entirely consumed by the green tree snake. Jamie Chapel
When he arrived at the scene, he found the frog had eaten all but the head of the taipan.
"He was quite happy with his meal," Mr Chapel said.
"You could see the snake still moving around in his stomach."
And while the frog seemed in control of the situation, Mr Chapel took it into care.

"I honestly thought the frog should be dead. That's why I took the frog into care, because I thought if the frog dies, I didn't want it to regurgitate a live taipan into the lady's house," he said.
Mr Chapel has a history of caring for green tree frogs.
Last year he saved a frog by giving it CPR.
The taipan-eating frog is currently resting up, and will be released today if it survives.
Coastal taipans are the sixth most venomous snakes in the world.
