It's that time of year again when Uber takes stock of the millions of rides Australian passengers took in 2024.

The rideshare giant's annual rider ratings rankings has been revealed, which listed the Australian cities with the best (and worst) average ratings.

Each time you complete an Uber ride, the driver has the option to give you a rating out of 5 stars.

The average national rating in Australia ia 4.82 stars, but some cities sit well below this.

Passengers in the Wesern Australia capital had the worst average rider rating in the country, sitting at 4.79 stars.

Perthites were the naughtiest Uber passengers in 2023 too, so things aren't looking up for WA.

The entire state had a national rider rating average of 4.79 too.
