Villagers literally 'move house' by carrying it across a field

A group of villagers have been filmed lifting and carrying a house across a field, in an awe-inspiring demonstration of collective effort.

The video, believed to have been shot in Thailand, and posted to Facebook by Rattanakamnerd Wongwarangkoon, shows one man counting down as other people brace to lift a house on wooden stilts.

Shouts ring out as the group raises the house into the air and carries it across a field at a brisk march.

The video ends before they put the house down in its new location, though they appear to cover a considerable distance.

It has since reportedly received upward of 33,000 reactions on Facebook.

In 2014, 80 Amish people were filmed picking up a house and carrying it over to a slab of cement in Spartansburg, Pennsylvania.
