US TV show host Savannah Guthrie has directly addressed her mother’s kidnappers, begging them to “do the right thing” and share information on what happened to her mother.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been missing since February 1 after an apparent abduction where she was taken from her home in Tuscon, Arizona.

No suspects have been publicly named despite footage captured from a doorbell camera of a masked man on Guthrie’s doorstep being released to the media.

Nancy’s daughter Savannah, who is a host on the US morning show Today, directly addressed the kidnappers in a video posted to Instagram, saying her family was still living in “agony”

“We are in a nightmare that will not end, nothing about our situation has changed,” she said.

“We have done our part, and we will never stop looking for her. We will always ache for her and feel that hole in our hearts.”

She appeared to try and reason with the kidnappers, saying “I know that you have tried to do things the right way” and gave a clear and concise message on what they should do next.

“Make the right choice, help us find her, tell us where to look for her,” Guthrie said.

“Help us bring this situation to an end.”

“For all of us, no matter where we’ve been and what we’ve done, I believe there is always a way home.”

Two ransom notes reportedly sent to the Guthrie family have been released to the media, both with differing claims on Nancy’s condition.

One claimed she was still alive, and asked for cryptocurrency in exchange for her release.

However, a second note reportedly differed widely and claimed Nancy was dead.

Both notes have been regarded as potentially credible, and the family has offered a $US1 million ($1.4 million) reward for any information about Nancy’s whereabouts.
