Donald Trump announces bloody plan if he is assassinated
Donald Trump has claimed he left instructions to escalate bombing of Iran in the event he is assassinated.
Trump was speaking to the New York Post after reports emerged that Israel had told him that Iran was plotting to kill him.

“I’ve been on their list for a long time,” Trump said.
“The only thing is, I’ve left instructions — if anything happens, to just literally bomb them at levels that they’ve never seen before.”
But Trump denied the new reports about Israel, saying Iran has long wanted him dead.
“No, no. Israel came up with nothing,” he said.
“I’ve been No. 1 for a long time, and it’s the way life is, you know.
“I hope you’ll miss me.”
Presidents are not able to make orders for after their deaths, with the newly-sworn-in successor free to do whatever they like.
In the case of Trump’s death, that would be Vice President JD Vance.
In the administration, Vance already has a reputation as being privately opposed to the conflict in Iran.

Perceived threats to Trump’s safety became apparent earlier this week when he switched planes midway through a return trip home to Turkey.
Trump went to the NATO summit in Ankara in the new Air Force One gifted to him by the Qatari government.
But he flew to the UK on an older plane before making a switch at an RAF base.
That switch was made at the behest of the Secret Service, according to the New York Times.
“I’m number 1 on the kill list for Iran,” Trump replied.

“I’m on every single one of their lists, and so far I guess I’ve been a little bit lucky, but that maybe doesn’t last very long, because that’s the way it goes.”
Last week it was reported his new plane had not been fitted with the same security measures as the prior aircraft.
That includes missile detection and countermeasure systems, the Associated Press reported.
On Truth Social overnight Trump announced that Iran “has asked us to continue talks”.
“We have agreed to do so, but the United States has stated to them, in no uncertain terms, that the Cease Fire is OVER!” Trump wrote.
The president has claimed Iran is seeking to negotiate nearly every day since the war began in late February.
At the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei this week, mourners held signs calling for Trump’s death.
Some simply read: “Kill Trump”.
Trump has survived previous assassination attempts in the past, most notably during a rally in Pennsylvania in 2024.
