Ukraine army tank bested by Daewoo

A Ukrainian tank packed with soldiers has come off second best against a tiny Daewoo in a David and Goliath-like battle for road supremacy.

A video posted online yesterday shows the moment the two vehicles unexpectedly come head-to-head as the armoured vehicle hoons down a dusty stretch of road in the Ukraine.

With the army tank barrelling straight towards him, the driver of the Daewoo Lanos tries to veer out of its path.

The tank driver also swerves in the opposite direction but the sudden move causes him to lose control and the tank goes crashing into a roadside ditch.

The Daewoo driver emerges from his car with a chuckle and a smile on his face just as chaos is breaking loose amongst the soldiers in the tank.

According to a subtitled version of the video, one of the soliders lets loose with a bunch of expletives before yelling, “F***, I’m going to shoot you now b****,” at another fighter in the tank.

Nearby troops rush to the crashed tank and try to calm the furious soldier down.

“Easy, easy don’t shoot,” one of the men calls out, entreating the soldier to put down his gun.

Despite an official ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine violence continues to erupt in the region with Russia being accused by the Ukraine and western governments of continuing to send troops and weapons to support separatists.
