A two-year-old girl who lost her left arm to cancer has found a new friend in a rescue kitten, who lost her right paw in a car accident.
The parents of Scarlette Tipton, who underwent the surgery when she was just 10 months old, said they wanted a pet for their daughter who was “just like her”.

“We wanted a little kitten to have Scarlette grow up with so she has something that’s just like her,” mum Simone said in an interview with Love Meow.
The family acquired the three-month-old kitten, Doc, just before Christmas.
