Friends and family gather to mourn teenage girl killed in crash while allegedly ‘skylarking’ in Sydney's west

Police believe two cars full of teens were skylarking when one of the vehicles crashed and killed a 17-year-old driver in Sydney’s west last night.

Rhonda Audisho died on impact when the maroon Toyota Corolla she was driving crashed near the intersection of Belloc Close and Vidal Street in Wetherill Park about 7.50pm.

A 17-year-old female passenger was taken to hospital with minor injuries and a 14-year-old male passenger was unharmed.

Police ruled out street racing, but said the trio may have been skylarking and travelling alongside a Black Mazda 3 when the crash occurred.

The 19-year-old female driver of the Mazda, and two passengers aged 15 and 16, have been questioned by police.

The passengers from the Corolla and the occupants of the other vehicle are cooperating with police.
