Man arrested after police pursuit in Sydney's west ends in shop front smash

A man has been arrested after leading police on a car chase and crashing into a shop in Sydney's west.
A 31-year-old man in a Ford Mustang Coupe allegedly failed to stop on Glossop Street in St Marys about 9.30pm yesterday.

Police initiated a short pursuit before the car crashed into a vacant shop front.
Authorites said the man fled the scene on foot and was arrested a short time later under a house on Adelaide Street in St Marys.
