Two dead in Sweden shooting at internet cafe

Two people are dead after one or more assailants armed with automatic weapons opened fire at people outside an internet cafe in the southern Swedish city of Malmo.

Six people were taken to hospital last night with gunshot wounds and two of them died within hours.

The fatalities were identified as two males, ages 18 and 29.

The shooting occurred shortly after 8pm and witnesses reported hearing as many as 20 shots, Aftonbladet newspaper said.

Officers from a nearby police station rushed to the scene and cordoned off an area of downtown Malmo, Sweden's third-most-populous city.
