Six people injured after Copacabana Beach kiosk collapses

Six people, including a child, have suffered injuries after a kiosk collapsed at Copacabana Beach in Rio, local media reports.
A rod supporting the roof of a kiosk on Avendida Atlantica snapped, causing the hut to collapse just after midday local time (4am AEDT), O Globo reported.
A woman suffered a suspected leg fracture, while a six-year-old and four adults suffered minor injuries.

Images show local police inspecting the almost completely flattened structure.
All six people were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Further investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
