Man who built his own Batmobile shows it off to crowds

The Swedish man who spent three and a half years and $1m creating his own Batmobile has showed it off to crowds in Russia.

Crowds of Batman fans gathered in Moscow for the rare display of Leif Garvin’s painstaking creation.

Mr Garvin, who finished the masterpiece 16 years ago, lovingly retrofitted a 1973 Lincoln Continental to make his creation.

The vehicle is an almost exact replica of the Batmobile in Tim Burton’s “Batman Returns”.

Mr Garvin brought his Batmobile to Russia to promote the sale of identical vehicles on the local market, RT reports.

The Batmobiles take eight months to make and will set you back about $1.1m.
