Man flees with police stun gun wires hanging out of him

A US motorist has filmed the moment a man fled a highway arrest after being shot with a stun gun.

A video of the man’s uncanny escape was uploaded to YouTube yesterday and has since been viewed more than 2300 times.

“Just saw this on 880N in San Jose,” the video’s title reads.

The video shows the man bowling over a police officer and racing through stationary traffic, as he is pursued by five officers.

It is unclear how the man managed to resist being incapacitated by the stun gun.

YouTube users have expressed both surprise and scepticism at this feat of endurance.

“Makes for interesting dinner talk,” Dana Keith VerVer wrote.
