Jordan Peterson suffering from 'horrible' neurological injury induced by medication, his daughter says
Prominent commentator and psychologist Jordan Peterson is suffering from a debilitating neurological condition brought about by medications to treat psychological conditions, according to his daughter.
In an emotional 35-minute video posted to X, Mikhaila Peterson, the Canadian doctor's daughter, revealed that Peterson has been suffering from akathisia, claiming it has had a "catastrophic" impact on him.
Akathisia is a neurological condition that impacts one's ability to remain still, making people feel an intense and uncontrollable need to move.

Mikhaila Peterson said her father's symptoms had flared up in the middle of last year, which she claimed was induced by mould after he moved house, as well as stress.
"It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later," she said.
"It's been horrible."
Peterson claimed it had been six years since her father had taken any medications for psychological conditions.
He had previously suffered from negative health impacts from benzodiazepine dependence, which he underwent treatment for.
Mikhaila said she was not planning on making another update about the condition of her father.
