Man's brutal killing posted on his Snapchat account: police

The brutal bashing of a US man who was forced to eat cat litter and kitty faeces in the lead-up to his death was posted on Snapchat.

Three people have been accused of killing Delvin Mendoza-Chaparro on December 19 in Milwaukee.

He was beaten, urinated on and the whole incident was posted to Mendoza-Chaparro's Snapchat account, according to authorities.

Two brothers and a woman have been charged with murder and held in jail, reports the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.

Police allege Devin Katzfey, 20, forced Mendoza-Chaparro to eat cat litter and faeces from a litter box while Branden Katzfey, 19, urinated on the 20-year-old man.

The brothers and Sarah Zakzesky, 20, allegedly took turns beating the man at Zakzesky's apartment.

The victim was later found in an alley suffering a badly beaten neck and back. He had apparently been dumped outside in sub zero temperatures.

Detectives recovered three short videos posted to Mendoza-Chaparro's Snapchat account. In the first, he is shown lying on the floor and a man telling him: "This is what happens when you steal . . . You got knocked the f— out, b—-. Don’t ever come and steal."

In a second video, he’s immobile and bloody, lying near a doorway. "That’s what happens when you try to steal," says the man.

The final video shows the victim on the kitchen floor near the litter box, dazed and bleeding. Mendoza-Chaparro tries to get up, but he’s kicked to the ground.

After police interviewed Zakzesky and Branden Katzfey, it emerged the trio had attacked Mendoza-Chapparro after a night of smoking marijuana. The trio turned on him after he was accused of stealing a bong pipe and other drug paraphernalia  from one of them.

The victim's mother, Iris Chaparro, said it was to be her first Christmas with her son for five years.

Instead, police told her he was dead.

"It was horrible. They showed me his photo and I couldn’t even go to the morgue to identify him," she told WITI.
