Meeting on Bali Nine transfer delayed

A meeting to confirm the date Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran will be transferred to Nusakambangan island will not be held on Friday.

The official responsible has been called to Jakarta on an unrelated matter, a spokesman for the Bali prosecutor's office says.

The Australian pair are to be transferred from Kerobokan jail in Bali to the other island for their execution.

Kerobokan prison governor Sudjonggo said he had no instructions yet to move the Australians.

When the time comes, the prosecutor will arrive at the prison with paperwork for him to sign, he said.

The process should take about 30 minutes and would be done by prison officers, not police.

"We will be persuasive," Sudjonggo told reporters.

"Hopefully they won't (fight back)."
