Stan release bombshell trailer for Yellowstone Season 5 as the show prepares to return with a two-hour premiere event

Stan has delivered an explosive teaser trailer for Season 5 of Yellowstone.

The original drama series, which chronicles the Dutton family and stars Hollywood legend Kevin Costner, will premiere on November 14, the same day as the US. 

Alongside the bombshell sneak peek, Stan has also announced that the show will make its grand return with a mammoth two-hour premiere event on the day of release.

In the brand new trailer – which you can watch above – we see a flash of John Dutton (Costner) who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States.

He is heard ominously saying the words: "We'll show the world who we are and what we do" – and with this family, we know that means drama is set to ensue.

The words "all will be revealed" then flash on-screen while firearms are reloaded in the background, hinting the Dutton family are gearing up to defend their ranch this season.

The series explores shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect, with the ranch in constant conflict with those it borders.

Since its launch, Yellowstone has shattered viewing records in the U.S. with the Season 4 premiere garnering over 14 million total viewers and the finale delivering over 15 million total viewers.

While Season 4 ended without any huge cliffhangers, fans have been desperately waiting for find out what's next for the Dutton family. 

With some huge dynamic shifts going on within the family – namely Jamie has become a murderer and Beth has the information that could ruin him – it's going to be a juggernaut of a season.

And, as we've come to learn in the Dutton family, nothing stays comfortable forever. 

Season 4 guest stars Jen Landon and Kathryn Kelly have been upped to series regulars for Season 5, alongside the impressive ensemble that includes Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Australia's own Finn Little, Ryan Bingham and Gil Birmingham, who are all returning for the new season.

Yellowstone Season 5 will premiere November 14, same day as the US and only on Stan.
