Exclusive: Kevin and Janetta react to their first episode of Travel Guides almost 10 years later: 'I want to start crying'
EXCLUSIVE: In 2017, Kevin and Janetta burst onto our screens as the Victorian retirees taking on a unique show called Travel Guides.
After nearly 10 incredible years, the duo reacted to Season 1 for the first time in Episode 1 of a brand new 9Entertainment video series – you can watch it in the clip above.
While there were certainly some "embarrassing" moments, Kevin and Janetta looked back on a very personal moment they never explained until now:
It was during their second episode on a trip to Queenstown, New Zealand, a stunning resort town known for its high adrenaline activities.

One of those activities was bungee jumping, a feat Kevin so bravely conquered.

"Remember this?" Kevin said with excitement. "And I've got my chronic fear of edges and ledges."
Janetta admitted Kevin was the last person she expected to jump off a bungee jump bridge.

Looking back, Kevin revealed the only reason he agreed to do it and because of that his life had changed.

"It was offered to me once before and I knocked it back when I was a travel writer," he personally explained.
"And I said, 'If it ever comes up again I will definitely jump' and I did and I was pretty proud of myself.
"I was standing up there for so long," he recalled. "I'm still recounting that story."

In the video, Kevin also revealed a very "embarrassing" detail fans might not have spotted the first time around.
"I can't look at that anymore," Janetta reacted to one instance. "I want to start crying."
"What was I thinking?" Kevin said re-watching one of the most outrageous moments from the series.

"What was I wearing?" Janetta said as she looked back on their very first episode.
Their love of wine and loathe of campervans hasn't changed, but their outlook on life and travelling certainly has!
