Touching moment Todd Woodbridge remembers his mum as three special guests take on Tipping Point Australia
The competition on Tipping Point Australia was more feel-good than fierce as the show celebrated the contributions of nurses.
To mark International Nurses Day, three nurses took on the Tipping Point game in hopes of winning the impressive $20,000 Jackpot.

Before things got underway, host Todd Woodbridge had a special message of thanks for the trio – especially aged care nurse, Joej – as he shared a deeply personal experience.
"I've had one of my family members, my mum, in aged care there for a little while and you guys do an incredible job," Todd told the contestant.
"So thank you, to all the aged care workers out there," he continued, to a big round of applause from the audience.

Todd's mum Barb sadly passed away in March 2023 after a long battle with dementia.
At the time, Todd spoke highly of the staff that cared for his mother in her final years.
"Can't say enough about the carers in Mum's home they are just simply incredible people," Todd wrote.

In the special Tipping Point episode, aged care nurse Joej was hoping to win money to get him to Formula One Grand Prix, with his ultimate dream being to shake the hand of Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton.
After making it through the early head-to-heads, that dream was one step closer to reality as Joej took on the Jackpot Round.
He built a very impressive bank of $4,800, but eyed the major $20,000 prize as the gold Jackpoint Counter sat hanging over the edge.

With two counters left, Joej dropped a silver counter into the machine and watched nervously as the counter fell.

Joej was speechless as the counter fell over the Tipping Point.
"I know everybody that you look after is going to be watching this going 'you deserve it, Joej,'" Todd celebrated.
