Grandma risks thousands for life-changing jackpot - before the unexpected happens on Tipping Point Australia

"Nonna" Lee was once chance away from winning a life-changing $20,000 on Tipping Point Australia.

With the gold jackpot counter teetering on the edge, she would have to give up the $4,800 already banked for one more chance to play.

Lee is retired and a proud grandma from Queensland.

If she were to win, Lee said she would split the money among her four grandchildren.

"I'd put it in trust accounts for them that they're not allowed to touch until they're 30. Just to give them a good start in life," she smiled.

With thousands already banked, host and sporting legend Todd Woodbridge stepped in to offer the ultimate jackpot temptation.

"Now you came here to get some money, you've got $4,800 in the bank which is nice... but we'd like a little bit more," Todd teased.

"You'd have to give up $4,800," warned Todd. In exchange, she'd be given two more silver counters to play for her shot at the $20,000.

What happened next was the last thing she ever expected.

The crowd erupted as Lee knocked over the Jackpot counter with just one push.
