"Soph is just so funny and an open book," said Andy about his co-star.

"Some of the stuff she comes up with this time around, I don't think there's any other show where you really find the true Sophie and find out all about her."

"We kind of change the studio into a pub and bring up those conversations you have when you've got a drink with a mate, going, 'If someone breaks up an engagement should they have to bring the ring back?'" Andy explained.

One question Andy should bring up is whether restoring a 148-year-old home is worth it – something the host has been tackling these last two years.

The TV personality purchased 'Ravenswood', a beautiful 1876 Melbourne property with girlfriend Rebecca Harding.

"It was a big purchase on the whim but I'm slowly finding out how hard it's going to be to restore it," admitted Andy.

So what made the couple decide to buy the property in the first place?

"Probably stupidity," he laughed.

"My mum actually saw it on the news and text me the story as a joke saying, 'I found your house'," he revealed.

"I think it was on the news because no one wanted it, with the headline 'Will anyone be stupid enough to buy this house?'" he smiled.

"We went around to visit and kind of fell in love with it. It's just this amazing property that deserves to brought back to life. So we'll see how it goes."

The pair hope to move into the finished home. For now, they're embracing their renovating "learning curve".

"I did put the call out to Scotty Cam to see if he'd be interested in helping but I didn't hear back from him," Andy laughed.

Scotty, if you're reading this, you might have a new project on your hands!
