Surprising number of Aussies who think it's 'wrong' to eat tuna in the workplace revealed on The Hundred with Andy Lee

Office etiquette – there are obvious rules like being on time, and some that are up for debate.

Like eating tuna in the workplace.

But is eating tuna in the office plain "wrong"? More than half Australians believe so, according to a new episode of The Hundred with Andy Lee.

To settle the debate, Andy called on the help of his panel: comedians Dave Thorton and Nazeem Hussain, and fan favourite Sophie Monk, who shares a bizarre tuna hack in the video above.

He also called on two Aussies Danielle and Kate, who were put to trail in a hilarious segment called 'Couples Court'.

Let us explain.

Kate is a teacher who regularly eats tuna in an open plan office, and thinks it's a cheap and delicious lunch option.

Her friend Danielle however is part of the 53 per cent who thinks it's "anti-social", "too stinky" and wrong.

"Is this all you're having for lunch, a can of tuna?" asks Dave.

"I open up the can and put the can of tuna in a salad," Kate clarifies.

But it's the "cracking of the can" where the real problem lies.

Kate also added that she's a teacher, so can't eat outside where the students are.

Taking the facts into consideration, Dave's guess was almost spot on.

He believed 55 per cent of Aussies thought eating tuna in the office was wrong.

But Soph guessed a whopping 80 per cent.

"I have too been a victim of tuna opening and I know how she feels, and people don't like it," she revealed.

Speaking as a "victim" of the so-called office crime, Sophie did reveal the interesting way she does eat her tuna to avoid any judging.

"I go to the bathroom to open it and put it in the salad, then mix it in and go back," she shared.

"I do care what people think as a tuna-opener," she said.

There was only one thing for Dave to add.

"Imagine people walking past that toilet cubicle going, 'What is happening in there?'," he said.

The show also revealed the number of Aussies who have left a passive aggressive note for someone in the office, and the bizarre way one woman has handled an office lunch thief.
