Maths 'expert' Chris had one shot at $10,000 - until a primary school maths question left him in a 'panic' on The Floor 2025

Stay-at-home dad Chris was one duel away from a life-changing $10,000 on new Aussie game show The Floor.
He also had a one in 36 chance at the grand prize of $200,000.
Armed with his own category of expertise 'Primary Maths', all he had to do was get a few maths questions correct.

Facing Chris, 39, in a sudden death duel was 36-year-old citizenship consultant Kate from Victoria.
Kate describes herself as "often underestimated but ruthlessly competitive".

"I worked in banking and finance for a few years, I do have a bit of a background in maths," she grinned.

But as the two contestants went head-to-head, one equation cost Chris everything.
"I'm panicking!" cried Chris.

"Oh my lord. I don't know about you but my brain hurts," said host Rodger Corser.
But it wasn't over.

With Chris now out of the competition, frontrunner Ruth was then challenged to defend her title and her category '80's Blockbusters'.
"Last time I took home $10,000.If I win this, I'm going to take home $20,000," she declared.

A competitive 27 contestants now remain.
The rules are simple: take on your neighbours in their special subject in a sudden death duel. The more duels you win, the more of The Floor you own.
