The UK's tallest public artwork designed by Anish Kapoor, and the Carsten Höller-designed world's longest side, the Arcelormittal Orbit is now selling tickets. Part of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London, Kapoor designed the piece to incorporate a 178-metre tunnel slide to wrap around the curves of the sculpture's curves.

If they get a chance in-between feeling nauseous and screaming for their lives, the  ride will also offer amazing panoramic views over London’s cityscape.



The tube passes through sections of light and dark, and funnels riders through a corkscrew section named the ‘bettfeder’ (after the german word for ‘bedspring’) before tunnelling into a 15 storey straight run back down to earth.
