Wombat has a quirky idea for their backyard pool

Wombat is proving to be quite the style guru on the Block and now it seem his thrifty, eco-friendly way of life is making its way onto their build. Sticks and Wombat have decided to join the bandwagon and add a pool in their backyard, but with a Wombat inspired twist; it’ll be in a shipping container.

If you’re having trouble imagining a pool in a shipping container then you wouldn’t be the only one. Keith and Dan were also perplexed when they heard the news.  

“They have a fibreglass mould that goes into them,” Wombat explains to the unconvinced Foremen.    
The stairs are built in the unit, which means they don’t need a pool fence.  After seeing some pictures Keith and Dan are convinced. “It’s different, but it looks alright though,” Keith says, shrugging his shoulders.  

“You know I love shipping containers, I had to put on in somewhere,” laughs Wombat.  If you’re struggling to imagine Wombat’s grand vision, here’s one we found on Instagram, as well as some other grand pool ideas that we’re blown away by.
