Will Sara and Hayden leave the Block?

After ripping off her microphone and screaming she was done with the Block, Sara eventually conceded to sleeping on site for the night.

The next day, Hayden was the first of the pair to show his weary face. “Don’t come in the room,” he warned the cameraman, pushing his hand on the lens. “We had some problems last night. We might be leaving the show.”

There was an awkward pause before Hayden asked to be handled gently. “Just be cool with us, because we got hammered and we’re just not happy about it,” he pleaded.

Sara was finding it hard to rally a positive vibe. “We got smashed again,” she said, adding the judges didn’t like anything they had done. “That was our baby and they’ve just gone and shat all over it.

“Why would I even want to be here now?” she questioned. “I don’t want to do this anymore.”

After having some time out, the pair calmed down a little. Spence headed up for a visit, to check on his friends and see how they were feeling.

“It’s a beautiful bathroom,” he said, giving Sara a squeeze. “I’m proud of it,” she replied, thanking him. “Keep smiling,” Spence urged her.

Scott Cam also dropped by for a check-in, and a timely reminder that the Block is a big, exhausting challenge. “Don’t ever think about leaving,” he assured her, adding her happiness and enjoyment of the process was important.

“If we get hammered again, then I can’t do it to myself mentally. I will have to call it quits,” she confirmed.  

With a long way still to go in the competition, there’s a very good chance things won’t always go Sara’s way… so what this means is that the pair are left on very shaky ground indeed.
