"We're not going to finish"

No matter what they do or how many interventions Scotty and his bookkeeper stage, it seems Sarah and Jason just can't shake their budget woes.

And now, after yet another talking to, the nurse and plumber appear to have reached new levels of overwhelm and are considering quitting master bedroom week before they even really begin.

"Chances of finishing this week is not looking too hopeful," Sarah said. "And I know with our measly budget it's very unlikely we would win this week, even if we threw everything we have at this room."  

The pair have already adopted cost-saving tricks to help style their rooms, but with their funds at an all-time low, fears are rising they won't complete their build, let alone the master bedroom.

Weighing up the pros and cons of throwing in the towel this week, Jason muses, "There's no point killing ourselves over it."

Hmmm, true. But with so much at stake, you'd think they'd at least try.
