There are style risks galore as the Blockheads push design boundaries

Amazingly, striped wallpaper featuring shisha smoking badgers wasn’t even the wildest styling decision featured in the Challenge Apartment!

The great news is, that wallpaper could be all yours if you manage to WIN the multi-million dollar apartment (find out how, here). But the fun didn’t stop there.

Let loose with a truly creative St Kilda style this week, the Blockheads were having fun. “Our brief was to go completely wild!” confirmed Sara.

Along with the striped wallpaper last week, we had a pink and palm tree wallpaper in the bathroom, a decal of a graffitied street and a concrete sheeted bedroom wall.

It’s All Good: Neon Madness
Jess and Norm have taken a bold approach to their wall styling again this week, following up from the concrete tiles they used in the bedroom. Maybe they are just really sick of painting? Jess has designed a wall sized neon light that reads “It’s All Good” in fluro pink. She believes the phrase is universally appreciated and is hoping the judges will like it but is aware it’s a risky choice.

Record player: Retro Style
That said, Bianca and Carla have a statement piece of their own. The girls managed to cajole Hayden into letting them build a nib wall, which they are placing a retro style record player against, in true hipster fashion.

Will any of these pack TOO much of a punch? Sunday night judging will reveal all.
