‘Were you listening?’

Despite being fresh off talking to the judges and checking out their styling in a similar property, Kerrie was totally questioning her choices as she tackled the first challenge.

Usually on the tools, Spence was on hand to help Kerrie with styling and while the two decided early to go for “sophisticated luxe” for the Study, executing it was another matter altogether.

“I’m having a creative breakdown!” Kerrie moaned as she pondered what to get and explained to Spence what a challenge it was to make styling decisions.

The duo was less indecisive when they spotted a desk they knew would be perfect for the space… even if it barely made it through the door. In the end, they were confident with the room’s execution, with Kerrie explaining she wanted to judges to walk in and say, ““I like it. They’ve listened to us.”

Instead, Shaynna Blaze walked in and said, “Were you listening?”

“I’m not a stylish person,” Kerrie admitted. “So, understanding what style is sometimes, is a bit of a [mystery.]”
