Exclusive: The Block's Bianca hits back against claims Scott Cam was 'sexist'

Bianca Chatfield has hit back at suggestions The Block host Scott Cam has made sexist comments, after viewers became upset with some of his remarks during the auction of her and Carla Dziwoki’s Gatwick apartment. She speaks with 9Honey Homes exclusively.

The moment in question came as the ex-netballers reached a bid of $2,982,500.

"Not bad for a couple of single girls, hey" Scott Cam said during auction.

"You will be on the market now," Scott added. "Or off the market. There are two million people watching this show. A couple of good sorts with plenty of cash."

Bianca told 9Honey Homes Scott’s comment did not register as being offensive to her or Carla at all, and she wasn’t sure why there was such outrage over it.

"We’re not offended by it," Bianca says.

"We had such a great time with Scotty throughout the whole show – every conversation we've ever had with him was full of banter and laughing."

It is the constant bantering that Bianca says was one of her favourite things about the whole Block experience.

Bianca and Carla posted this photo on Instagram, which was taken just after their auction.

"What a weekend it’s been! We’ve had so much fun throughout this whole experience, especially with this guy @scottycamofficial. Lots of laughs and plenty of jokes! We know we’re your faves."

Bianca says it's one of her favourite photos with Scott, who has become a mate.

"We were the calmest we were all day when we were sitting on the couch next to him [during the auction]."

While Bianca concedes there was talk on The Block about her and Carla being single, the pair never became upset about it.

"They’re just stating facts, and Scott was right, we are single. We’re also really tall, and people like to talk about that too.

"Scott knows the type of people we are. I think he would know the lines he couldn’t cross and he never went close to them."
