Tradie troubles spark another walk out for Tess and Luke

Tess and Luke are no strangers to tradie troubles. This time, their plumber and sparkie have walked out at a pivotal moment.

"Plumbers ran waste to the island bench," explained Luke, adding "but didn't run any water and the sparkie didn't run any power."

It came right as their concrete arrived ready to be poured, and it sparked (pun intended) a showdown between Tess and Luke and their tradie Giulian.

"The works not getting done," began Luke "We're the only house with no working taps. The basin's aren't quite hooked up."

The accusation ignited a defensive response from Giulian.

"We're working as fast as we can. There's only so much we can do. There's no communication. When we ask a question, you don't even acknowledge the email or the messages."

After Tess affirmed that work was being done too slowly, which led to a complete breakdown in communication between the couple and their tradesman.

"From day one we've busted our ass for you guys," said Giulian. "Now you're turning around and saying we're not pulling our weight, which I don't think is fair.

"If you guys are unhappy with the way we're working then we don't want to work for you guys.

"We're pulling all our trades effective immediately. We're done. We're leaving."

It happened right as the concrete arrived. Luckily, they managed to call in a favour from Mitch and Mark and borrow their tradie to complete the job.
