Steal Khloe Kardashian's best closet organisation tricks

We may never have a six-figure budget to design our dream walk-in-closets, but that doesn’t mean we can’t steal the tips and tricks of those who do.

Closet designer to the stars Lisa Adams of LA Closet Design, who lists Reese Witherspoon and Khloe Kardashian among her clients, says anyone can achieve a pristine robe in their homes regardless of how much cash you have to splash.

“It’s really about utilising the space, because most people don’t,” Lisa told People. “You need to use the height of it, the depth of it, the width of it, the back of it and the full drawers. All of this can be done on a budget.”

One small hack that makes a huge difference in Amy’s robe is using drawer inserts so that every inside can be seen as soon as it is opened. “It really helps keep the drawer organised. I want people to be able to see everything,” she said.

“It’s great for underwear, socks, sunglasses, and jewelery. I’ve even used them for t-shirts before too.”

She also suggests hanging bags on purse hooks to prevent unwanted mess. “They’re great for tote bags and pretty much any unstructured purse that can be hung.”

Lisa’s advice has certainly rubbed off on KoKo Kardashian (or Khloe, for the uninitiated) who revels in her immaculate closet.

She has an entire room dedicated to her workout gear, and says she hangs everything by category (tops, leggings, etc.) and by colour.

“All my shirts are long sleeves but they go in order. I go in colour. I always end in black and start in white,” Khloe said.

“I also try to put my leggings in order by length.”

A jean devotee (she’s got her own brand) Khloe has taken to hanging her countless pairs rather than folding them.

“Hanging my jeans (rather than folding them) allows me to pull out a pair without f-king up the perfect system I’ve got going on,” she wrote on her app earlier in the year.

“Slack hangers allow you to see the full leg and waistband of your jeans, so you basically know what everything is without having to pull it all out. These slim chrome hangers are also genius for space saving.”
